Privacy Policy
Your files stay on your device
banglakit/converter runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your documents are processed locally and are never uploaded to any server. No file content, text, or conversion output leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-MJ3XKLH4SL) to understand how many people visit the site and which features are used. Google Analytics collects:
- Page views and session duration
- Approximate geographic region (country/city level)
- Browser type and screen size
- Referral source
This data is aggregated and anonymous. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any personally identifiable information. Google's own privacy practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors. No other cookies are used. You can block these with your browser's cookie settings or a content blocker without affecting the converter's functionality.
Third-party services
The page loads resources from:
- Google Fonts — for typography (Young Serif, DM Sans)
- jsDelivr CDN — for the JSZip library
These services may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, user agent). We do not control their data practices.
Data retention
We retain no user data ourselves. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
